SHARING HOPE TO THE HURTING, THE BROKEN & THE LONELY.

Where do you hide from the storms?

The days that turn into daze, when your heart breaks into smaller pieces than you ever felt possible, when words can’t come out except as groans or torrents of tears. When you are lonely but surrounded by caring friends or family who can’t grasp what you are going through.

There is a place where you can be met, no matter what,  right where you are.

I have a fave comfy spot on my sofa, near my writing desk where I tend to go when I get home to re-find my center.  You could call it my physical nook.

{NOOK} A sheltered and secluded place; A quiet retreat.

Yet this place is just a place. As much as I love it, other than in a photo I cannot take it with me anywhere else on earth, no matter the familiar comfort it brings me when I sit there.

There is a place within a place that I carry with me wherever I go, for it is deep within. It is where God meets me inside. Where God wraps His presence around me, speaks words of love and comfort into the very core of my being, always present.

He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge, His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
– Psalm 91:4

My hiding place, the shelter I run to in the storm, my refuge from enemy flack, the nook under which I am protected & covered is God.

I am truly never alone. Somehow heaven touches earth within each person who accepts God’s gift, Jesus. He is at home in me, in all who invite Him. And we get a glimpse of just how awesome heaven will be in His presence here in our daily lives.
