becoming his art when He enters our hearts

You and I, we are His workmanship.

Really & truly.

We are living, breathing pieces of God’s exquisite craftsmanship, whether we acknowledge we were made by Him or not.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 ESV

He made us to walk out & live what He designed us for!

Another way to look at it:

He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing. Ephesians 2:10 MSG

He invites us to join Him, the Artist, in sculpting our lives to complete the artwork He longs for each of us to become.

How thrilling is that?!

When God enters our heart, we (all our heart mind soul spirit talents gifts passion love) become His art.

The Artist is known by His handiwork.

Centuries later, famous pieces of art give clues to their painter or sculpture’s handiwork. Picasso, van Gogh, Da Vinci, Michelangelo… all their works give evidence as to their distinct work.

So do you, and so do I!

Its that mindblowingly awesome?!

YOU are a piece of ART.

A Treasure for God to enjoy throughout the ages.

One of a kind, never ever to be duplicated.

More costly than the most expensive piece of art even known or yet to be valued!

Your value not only comes from the skill & amazing Creator who made you, but the price He paid to buy you: through the precious blood of Jesus.

And if that was not enough….He leaves us with Holy Spirit to live within us, to keep His art in tune with Him, & to help guide and shape us as He continues to mold His living art!

Do me a favor, right now….

Head to your mirror, and say the following to your reflection:

I am a precious, beloved treasure in the eyes of my Creator, and He will never stop making me into the creation He designed me to be. I am His handiwork, made out of His love. I bring Him joy by being me!  My value is set forever as unique & longed for, and I was purchased with the most costly treasure God had: His very son.  I am fearfully & wonderfully made by the God who adores me, and will never stop pursuing me!
