when His plans don’t always make sense

I don’t always get why things happen, or their timing.

There. I said it.

And God isn’t smiting me down in anger for sharing that common thought, the one we think more often then we realize.

thought and action

Its not our thoughts that leads us astray, but the actions we choose based on them.

Are you choosing faith or fear when a thought pops into your mind?

I constantly need to remind myself that God is on His throne, and nothing escapes His vision or reach.

Including me, those I love, and what is unfolding in our lives at any given moment.

If like me, you are in need of a few reminders, here are a few verses to help you put faith under your feet today.

My baby, all 6′ 6″ (just off of 2 meters tall) is heading off to work at an overnight camp for the summer.

I am not ready.

I believe it is the best thing for him, at this time and season in his life, and that God completely confirmed this to us both.

I am choosing to let him go with my blessing, knowing the same God is with us both wherever we are in the world, whether together or apart.

You catch my tears

I know my tears will fall, and that God will catch each and every one of them as He comforts me with His Presence.

He thought of everything, provided for everything we could possibly need, letting us in on the plans he took such delight in mak

He thought of everything, provided for everything we could possibly need, letting us in on the plans He took such delight in making. Ephesians 1:9 MSG

Ephesians 1-10

He set it all out before us in Christ, a long-range plan in which everything would be brought together and summed up in Him, everything in deepest heaven, everything on planet earth. Ephesians 1:10 MSG

philippians 4-8-9

Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into His most excellent harmonies. Philippians 4:8-9 MSG

Colossians 1-15-17

We look at this Son and see the God who cannot be seen. We look at this Son and see God’s original purpose in everything created. For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels—everything got started in Him and finds its purpose in Him. He was there before any of it came into existence and holds it all together right up to this moment. Colossians 1:15-17 MSG

stand in faith

May He reveal His solidness under your feet, Beloved, so you will cast fear aside and choose to stand in faith.
