✔firm in adherence to whatever one owes allegiance
✔implies unswerving adherence to a person or thing, or to the oath or promise by which a tie was contracted (ie. faithful to His promise)
Wow. God shows all these aspects of faithfulness to US. His children, to whom He has pledged His fidelity & pours His love upon! It is no mistake that faithfulness is included in the fruit of the Spirit.
There are three main verses which I treasure, for their confirmation of His faithfulness. Coz there are days when I get hurt because some one isn’t being faithful to the word they have promised, the job I was offered, an agreement was broken…
And I rest my hurting heart once again upon His shoulder, and allow the faithful One to show me:
- His Word never fails!
- His adopting me will last forever!
- His Promises always come to pass!
