hope for this hard day

Do you ever have those days where you feel run ragged, stuck between a rock and a hard place, and/or unlovely, unwanted & overlooked? Welcome to my day.

God has been graciously reminding me of His love this week in the book of Isaiah, especially Isaiah 68:6 –

God sets the lonely in families, He leads out the prisoners with singing.

He reminded me before I needed the reminder that

  1. He is my family (as are all of you!) and
  2. I do not need to be the prisoner of any one else’s bad attitude.

He knew today was coming, and in His loving timing, helped prepare me for it.

I am so thankful that God sees & guides me through every circumstance and dark season, especially in those moments when I can’t see it through my tears. He lights my path as He leads me.

What Word is He speaking to you this week? How is He ministering to you as you seek Him on the hard days?
