I was busy meeting with a gal I am encouraging for coffee, when a clearly ‘wired’ woman came in to the coffee shop, and was irate to find the only main floor washroom occupied. She jumped on the spot, sat down, got up, tried the door handle again, and repeated this three times.
I was showing my friend a pic online which made us giggle when all of a sudden, this “wired” woman was less than an inch from my face and nastily said, “Get a life!” before she stormed out the exit.
And where old me would have freaked out, instead I felt completely safe!
You see, I am not who I used to be. Not as full of fear, anxiety or concern for what others think of me. I was able to have compassion, and not take the words spoken in anger to heart.
The more time I spend in Your Word, worshiping You in Your Presence? The more You COMPLETE me.
For You take the broken and rebuild me whole, You strengthen the weak and fill in the lack. You take a wounded heart and infuse it with Your love.
