taking a closer look – “us”

HiHP usUS.  A pronoun (GROUP), used as the object of a verb or a preposition to refer to a group that includes the speaker and at least one other person.

One of the most precious words to me in the chorus “O Come Let Us Adore Him,” the word “Us” reminds me that the gift of Jesus is and always was meant for all of, you guessed it, US! Regardless of our history heritage, mistakes and failings!!!

So when you are actually sing this word, you are including not only yourself, but also all of those around you.

May He reassure us each and every time we come into His Presence that Jesus came for each of us, a generous gift to be accepted, savored and delighted in with wonder & awe!

Word: “This is how much God loved the world: He gave His Son, His one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in Him, anyone (ALL OF US!) can have a whole and lasting life.” John 3:16 MSG
