The gift which often gets overlooked in the Christmas story is the promise of what is yet to come with the arrival of Jesus.
It may appear obvious to you once I write it, but Jesus doesn’t stay a baby for very long! His coming was the physical beginning of His plan to make the way back for us to be in His Presence again. To restore us to what was lost when Adam and Eve fell into sin in the Garden of Eden – the ability to draw close to God again!
If this Christmas you are feeling a little overwhelmed by obstacles in your way, or a dream which has not yet come to fruition, ask Him to show you that He has good things planned for your future, and will bring them to pass!
