It is hard on the days when my body is hurting, my emotions are reeling, my mind is exhausted or I feel weighed down by loneliness, anxiety, worry or depression to put into my prayer into words. I know I need to, but I occasionally find myself blocked from doing so.
That’s when a Word from the Bible or a worship song, or a combo of the two become my prayer.
Because I know that I need to do my part to meet Jesus so He can set me free, heal me, and love up on the parts of me needing to feel His touch.
“Love Came Down” by Kari Jobe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LNxDzhoey8
If my heart is overwhelmed and I cannot hear Your voice,
I hold on to what is true though I cannot see.If the storms of life they come and the road ahead gets steep,
I will lift these hands in faith, I will believe.I’ll remind myself of all that You’ve done
and the life I have because of Your sonLove came down and rescued me
Love came down and set me free
I am Yours, Lord I’m forever Yours.
Mountains high or valley low, I sing out and remind my soul
I am Yours, I am forever Yours!
