I often find myself needing deep restoration and energy when I am hurting in a major way. But today’s verse doesn’t make sense unless you add it to the verse before it. Verse two reminds us that God offers us rest in a loving and personal way. And it is in that place of rest when we are in His Presence where Psalm 23:3 can happen…
That’s where He restores and revives my life. He opens before me pathways to God’s pleasure and leads me along in His footsteps of righteousness so that I can bring honor to His name.
