NOTICE.
As I walk, drive or take the bus through town, it’s hard not to notice things about other people. What they are wearing, the words they are sharing, the expressions on their face which show that they are or aren’t caring.
And with that last comment, you’ll notice I jumped to a snap assumption.
Comparison and commenting can lead straight into judgment and dismissal before you know it.
I notice that the more I take my eyes off of the true value of a person as one made in His inage? The more I don’t like the attitude I begin to express.
Noticing me notice you when I am out and about? I hope you will see the smile on my face, and not feel like I am talking about you or judging you.
And I hope I will notice the same about you!
Don’t pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults— unless, of course, you want the same treatment. That critical spirit has a way of boomeranging.
