You are not just high and mighty, God.
And I don’t say that with disrespect in any way, shape or form.
When Jesus came to earth, He literally put skin & bones over His divinity to become a person like us. Alive, breathing, speaking, touchable, with all the feelings a person is designed to have.
He became one to reach us, one by one.
For not only did God become a person, He wants a personal connection with each person He created. To speak, to listen, to help, to break bread together, to connect.
- No other god humbles themselves to become like us.
- No other god became the sacrifice humanity needed to pay its debts.
- No other god walked on His creation with the very people He came to teach, serve and save.
- No other god cares about each person so that they would call us to them by name.
Hebrews 2:5-18 echoes the Truth that You were, are a Person, Jesus.
Not just one of the Almighty, but Emmanuel, God with us.
A Person just waiting to meet those You long to call friend.
Like you, and me, friend.
