On the days when the weather is unpredictable, my emotions are riding a rollercoaster, and anxiety begins to rise, Your Word reassures me I can rest in You, for You are with me, You are faithful, and You’re gonna keep me safe despite any situation or storm:
“You who sit down in the High God’s presence, spend the night in Shaddai’s shadow, say this: “God, You’re my refuge. I trust in You and I’m safe!” That’s right—He rescues you from hidden traps, shields you from deadly hazards. His huge outstretched arms protect you—under them you’re perfectly safe; His arms fend off all harm.” (Psalm 91:1-4 MSG)
“He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” (Psalm 91:4 NIV)
“Because he holds fast to Me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows My name. When he calls to Me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will rescue him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.” (Psalm 91:14-16 ESV)
