I love how God lays out for us what is our part, and what is His part, in His Word.
Our part in the above verses?
-Love God
-Be faithful
-Stay true to Him
-Be strong
-Take heart
-Hope in Him
His part?
-He preserves His people – He holds on tight to us, as we cling to Him as our life preserver!
-He pays back those who refuse to bow to Him. By giving us free choice, we essentially choose what comes out way by the choices we make – those who know Him, and those who don’t.
May we choose to always find our hope in Him – His Love, His Word, His Presence – whether our day is going well, our hearts are hurting, or we are walking into or through a hard season.
