All of us are looking for something, aren’t we, friend?

I have come to realize that there is only one thing worth looking for.

But unlike wealth or fame or any one of a million other ways we can seek security or comfort in this world, what I look for is found in the person of Jesus.

For my Hope lives forever and breathes out love, peace, purity, mercy and grace unlike any other possible source.

So instead of looking about me when things feel or appear to be hopeless, I choose to respond by faith as today’s verse simply, yet effectively explains:

“But now, Lord, what do I look for? My HOPE is in You.”
(Psalm 39:7)

What are you needing to look to Him for hope today, friend?
