DAY 23: {PUTTING MY HOPE IN YOUR WORD}

When the barbed arrows hit their mark, the harsh words find my ears, or bad news fills my sight – I am ever reminded that my hope lies with You, God. Nothing else, no one else – only You.

For with You, the sting is removed from the arrow blows, my hurt is soothed with Your gentle voice, and my hope arises over every situation when I fix my eyes upon Your loving face. You are my constant companion, and my living Hope. May I ever continue to proclaim the truth of today’s verse, each and every day of my life:

"You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my HOPE in Your Word." (Psalm 119:114)
