DAY 25: {HOPING IN YOUR WORD}

"I wait for the Lord. my whole being waits, and in His Word I put my HOPE." (Psalm 130:5)

This has been a tough week for me physically. Aches, pain, weariness, stress and strain have left me less than at optimal levels.

Yet I am still able to get up, get to work on time, perform my to do tasks, moderately exercise, stretch, eat and drink 90% healthily despite how I am feeling.

Because I trust God is able to be my strength, just as He promises to be in His Word. So I can get up and go because He is strong enough for anything I am feeling.

But more than trust, hope believes things are going to become better when seen in the light of who He is – our living Hope.

So I continue to wait for healing, knowing that in the wait He actively waits alongside me, providing all I need for this new day, no matter what it holds. And today’s verse reminds me that I can do so my whole being – whether it is whole or not.
