DAY 31:{HOPE IN HIS UNFAILING LOVE}

I was reminded yesterday that God had a plan for the family from the very beginning, in Genesis. And when sin entered into that plan, God accounted for that too.

For He knew that Adam & Eve would fall, He knew Cain would kill Abel, and He knew Cain would end up a wanderer, sent away from his family as a result.

You may not have a murderer in your family line, but if your family is human, there are likely problems.

Can I remind you, friend, that God is with you in your family? He sits besides you at your table, and will even give you the words to use in respond to that family member who pushes your buttons. Trust me – been there, done that and God has made the way possible for those buttons to not be pushed again.

But more than God being a part of your family, because you have invited Him into your heart and life?

He welcomes you, just as you are, into His forever family; loves you with a wildly devoted heart, and invites you to sit with Him at His family table for eternity.

Your family history, past or present, may be a painful, dramatic or lonely one. But if you are His child, take the following to heart:

1. He delights in your faith in Him.

2. His love for you will never fail.

Never ever will He leave you. Never ever will He turn His back on you. Never ever will He abandon you. Never ever will He not forgive you. Never ever will He not welcome you with open arms. Never ever will His love for you fade away. There is nothing you can do that will ever make Him not want you as a part of His family!

“The Lord delights in those who fear Him, who put their HOPE in His unfailing love.”
(Psalm 147:11)
