‘I Dreamed a Dream’ is one of the most popular musical songs of all time. Because everyone can relate to the wait and loss of their dreams. The hope that they might come to pass can help to keep us going in the dreariest of seasons.
When it seems to be taking forever for a dream that I believe God put in my heart to come to pass? I turn to the Word to anchor my hope in the wait.
For You promise that You are always with us. That the plans You have for my future are for my good. That Your love for me will never fail or fade, it will last forever.
And those truths, and the verse from today, warms my heart on the coldest of nights, and keep one foot moving after the other on the hardest of days. And You anchor me as I wait to see how You are going to not only meet my daily needs, but make the dreams You have yet to birth in me come to pass.
