Some days, I tend to forget just how mighty You are, God, when I take my eyes off the Maker and focus on what You have made – which often occurs around the weather.
Today, You reminded me that You indeed are the Maker of Heaven, Earth, the seasons and so much more, with this verse. Thank You for the boost of hope Your Word gives when I turn to You in faith.
“Do any of the worthless idols of the nations bring rain? Do the skies themselves send down showers? No, it is You, Lord our God. Therefore our hope is in You, for You are the one who does all this.” (Jeremiah 14:22 NIV)
