{DAY 38: HOPE UP AHEAD}

Some daze (and yes, that wasn’t a typo but spelled purposefully for extra emphasis!) are hard, dreary, never ending and/or just plain days you might want to do over.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am so thankful that God gives us fresh mercy for each new day, so we can leave yesterday in our past, and walk with Him in the present.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But when we have had a tough go of late, how can we keep our hope up?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s not a secret, nor rocket science, that anything you do consistently will become a habit, part of your routine.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One of mine is to memorize bible verses, like today’s treasure. This verse was one of the first I both memorized and claimed when I began to follow Jesus.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And although I can’t see the road up ahead, I know the One who walks it with me, and promises my future is in His capable, loving hands. So I can rest in the truth that He is planning good to come my way, and my care is important to Him!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out – plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.” (Jeremiah 29:11 MSG)
