“When life is heavy and hard to take, go off by yourself. Enter the silence. Bow in prayer. Don’t ask questions: Wait for hope to appear. Don’t run from trouble. Take it full-face. The “worst” is never the worst.”
(Lamentations 3:28-30 MSG)
There are days and seasons which I find often hard or confusing as they occur in my life. Maybe you too can relate.
Waiting for news, waiting for test results, waiting for something to change but not sure what to do to help that to happen?
I love the step by step to do list in today’s verse. Because it reminds us all that this world is temporary but our God is eternal, and that our relationship with Him is the key to everything.
Life heavy, hard to take?
- Be alone in His presence.
- Sit, pray, then wait for God to show up.
- You can face this with Him.
And friend? The worst that could ever happen is if you were to be separated from God for eternity. If you are His, that will never happen. Nothing else can ever be as worse as that!
Wait for Hope to appear. He’s got this, and you.
