☂️This weekend was a hard one around our home. Tough decisions were being processed, patience was wearing more than a little thin, and it felt lonelier with everyone home at times than if we were all still working out of the house.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
☂️When I get overwhelmed on the hard days (which honestly, are happening more often of late), I choose to claim verses which speak to who He is, and address the need I am having in the moment.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
☂️This weekend, my need was to feel sheltered, comforted, held.
☂️This verse caught my eye again. And with a whoosh I had a brief flashback to a moment where I felt warm, safe and held in His embrace… right before major surgery 16 years ago. When I asked Him for a sign He was with me, and He answered it in an unexpected but never forgotten way.
“The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.”
Deuteronomy 33:27
☂️May your mayday lead you to finding what you need from Him today as well, friend. He is just waiting to meet us in each and every moment we turn to Him. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
