What would happen if instead of focusing on what we lack, we traded it to God in exchange for life?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Are you ready to trade in your sorrows over your past, your current grief about the coronavirus, and proclaim Him sovereign, present, in control; your refuge, defender and provider?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
All it takes is the gift exchange. You give Him the gift of honesty in prayer as you lay out what you lack and need, then He pours His life, new hope, peace into those now made empty to be filled places within you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Friend, somehow this miraculous exchange works, for it is founded on His ways and not human ones. We may not fully comprehend it, but as it is fully dependent upon His power – we don’t have to ‘get it’ to get it! The cross initially looked like it ended in death until Jesus turned the tables and rose back to life… and has made the way for us to do the same in our day to day living!

Word:
🍁”We’ve been surrounded and battered by troubles, but we’re not demoralized; we’re not sure what to do, but we know that God knows what to do; we’ve been spiritually terrorized, but God hasn’t left our side; we’ve been thrown down, but we haven’t broken. (2 Corinthians 4:8-9 MSG)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍂”We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” (2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NIV)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Worship:
🍂”Trading My Sorrows” (I recommend you crank it after your time of prayer, and proclaim it into being in your life!)
