Listening and lamenting are both important parts of implementing change, and by doing so, we show others that they do matter on every level.
It’s time for all of us, together, to stand up for what is right, step up and treat one another as equals, and speak up when we see or hear injustice. Every time.
Will it be uncomfortable? Yes.
Is it necessary? Yes.
Is it overdue? Yes.
Unity is always worth the effort, and love is always worth the cost.
