“Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way.” (Colossians 3:17 MSG)
This verse used to stress me out when I read it on its own.
But it was meant to read as a part of the verses I have been sharing with you this week…
If you are already wearing the wardrobe He has laid out for you, with love over all (Colossians 3:13-14), and are living in tune with others & God (Colossians 3:15-16), this verse wraps this train of thought up nicely:
Live your life from a place of thankfulness and love, following God’s ways in His strength, with each step you take.
I am so grateful that God is with me, every step of every day. Keeping that truth in mind helps me stay calm on the more stressful days, finish my must get done list when I am almost out of energy, and warms my heart despite the arrival of colder weather.
