Breaking up with worry… Part 3

“So then, forsake your worries! Why would you say, “What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ For that is what the unbelievers chase after. Doesn’t your heavenly Father already know the things your bodies require? So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God’s kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from Him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly. Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself.” (Matthew 5:31-34 TPT)

These verses confirm what we need to know in order to break up with worry:

➡️Focus on His ways, and He will make a way.

➡️Focus on the Provider, and He will provide.

➡️Focus on today, and live present.

Thank You God that You are the Way Maker, Miracle Worker & Promise Keeper. May these truths shine brighter than any darkness which would try to distract me from Your goodness, and Your love for me. Help me to keep my eyes focused through the lens of faith, my heart fixed firmly on Your love and and my mind fixed upon the evidence of how You have provided in the past. Your character never changes, and I am ever so humbled and grateful that You chose me as one of Yours, and will never stop providing for all my needs – including helping me break up with worry! In Holy Spirit power & the mighty name of Jesus I pray to You Father, Amen!
