When seasons shift

🍁When the seasons decide to shift and the weather follows along, I am thankful that the One who set them into motion is always by my side. Fall usually means achy joints for me, as the sudden shift of temperatures & busyness triggers my osteoarthritis.

Which is why I work extra hard to keep my focus on God. Not my current circumstances, nor what has happened in the past to muddle my mind in the now.

@WondHERful writer Heather suggests the following when you start to feel anxious:

🫁 Breathe in 1-2-3 as you think “JE”
🫁🫁Breathe out 1-2-3 as you think “SUS”
🫁🫁🫁Repeat as required until you feel calmer again.

🙏Inviting Jesus into our current situation & emotions helps center us on His presence & His perspective.

🍁So even though the wind may be shaking the leaves about your head, you can stand firm knowing God is with you, God is for you, God goes before you, God walks beside you, and God adores you for being you.
Those truths will help keep you safely rooted during stormy weather.
