šŸ“–C l a i m i n gĀ  H i sĀ  W o r d

I shared that recently there were two verses which really helped get me through my most recent health issue.

This second verse, (one of my all time faves) continues to help anchor my emotions and calm my fears when I speak it out in any & all situations.

“The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exult over you with loud singing.”

(Zephaniah 3:17 ESV)

But my favorite version of this verse?

“Your God is present among you, a strong Warrior there to save you. Happy to have you back, He’ll calm you with His love and delight you with His songs.”

(Zephaniah 3:17 MSG)

As one who has struggled with loneliness & depression, and ebbing & flowing in my closeness with God, this verse brings me comfort in the following ways:

šŸ‘£It reminds me that God is present beside me, always. Which means He too is walking through it, whatever it is today.

āš“ God is more than able & strong enough to save me in any way I am needing it.

šŸ’•God loves to pour His love into me, which reminds me I am beloved.

😌God calms my fears, soothes my stress, quiets my anxiety.

šŸŽ¤And as a singer, this part has always given me a “thrill of hope” when it comes to mind…

šŸŽ¶šŸŽµGod sings over me because He delights in me!

That knowing that God is ever present with me, and going through life beside me? Best šŸŽ I have ever received!

What verses help remind you of His faithfulness, especially on the harder days? Share one here with us so we can praise Him for how His Word comes to life in our lives, and encourage one another to dig deeper into His Word & Presence for all we need.
