These past few months have been a journey unlike any other I have experienced of late.
I have encountered God in both the ⛰️ highland mountain tops and the 💔 heartache of the valleys. Honestly, there hasn’t been a day where I have had an uneventful day either way that I can bring to mind. And you know what, friend? I have learned that that is okay.
💡For God has been reminding me that even in the dark of night, He continues to be my Light. And He shines all the brighter in the hardship.
🎶When I recently heard the @hillsongunited song “Highlands” which I shared yesterday, the following verses immediately came to mind.
🫂Reassuring me that God with me, strengthening me and calming me along the ups and downs of the path I take.
🔊Speaking louder than the voice of fear, which can’t remain in His presence.
💨Blowing rest through my soul as it soothes and grounds me with the truth they contain:
🌿”Even when Your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for You already have! Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of Your love takes away my fear. I’ll never be lonely, for you are near.” (Psalm 23:4 TPT)
