š„ŗ”We donāt know what to do; weāre looking to You.ā(2 Chron. 20:12)
ā”ļøAnother war.
Added to the many wars already raging around the world.
More wounded.
More homeless.
More orphans.
More widows.
More refugees.
More loneliness.
More poverty.
More violence.
More trauma.
More loss.
šLord, I don’t know what to do other than to pray. I can send money for aid. I can keep in touch with those who have a loved one in the war areas. But knowing that You are there beside these hurting people, ready to comfort, guide & support them? That You are the one raising up prayer warriors & softening hearts towards the victims? That the world is uniting to say, “Enough.” and speaking up about it. Thank You.
ā”ļøAnother friend diagnosed with a terrible disease.
MS.
ALS.
Cancer.
More pain.
More tests.
More treatments
More appointments.
More unknown ahead.
More stress.
More grief.
More loss of daily living.
More relational tension.
More looking disease and possible death square in the face.
šLord, I don’t know what to do other than to pray. I can send an encouraging word. I can offer practical supports like meals and a listening ear. But inviting You to show Yourself strong and bring Your glory to each situation & family matters most. Keep these dear ones close to Your heart. Speak love, purpose, direction to each one. Comfort them & their families as they navigate this stormy gale of a season. Be the Light they need to hold on to the hope they have in You.
ā”ļøAnother friend reeling from the trauma of separation & divorce, when their partner kept things hidden that have finally come to light with an explosive bang.
More tears.
More pain.
More tearing families apart.
More separating of stuff.
More tension over money.
More unanswered questions.
More loneliness.
More feelings such as shame, anger, loss.
šLord, I don’t know what to do other than to pray. I can offer a lending hand, a kind supportive ear, practical help like a meal, a coffee or watching kids or pets. But inviting You to walk beside them as You heal their hearts, provide for every need is the best gift I can give them.
ā¤ļøSo I lift these prayers to You, and look to You to be all these people need, God.
