“That’s right – He rescues you from hidden traps, shields you from deadly hazards. His huge outstretched arms protect you – under them you’re perfectly safe; His arms fend off all harm. Fear nothing – not wild wolves in the night, not flying arrows in the day, not disease that prowls through the darkness, not disaster that erupts at high noon. Even though others succumb all around, drop like flies right and left, no harm will even graze you. You’ll stand untouched, watch it all from a distance, watch the wicked turn into corpses.”

🙏 God, You knew that fear would rear its ugly head this week, and the Words in this passage help calm me as I take them in. You have my back always. There is nothing I can face that You aren’t prepared for, and nowhere that You can’t sheltered me within. The storm can swirl about me but I can be at peace resting in Your embrace as I trust You to protect me. This is who You are, motivated by Your great love for me – which I find both mind blowing and comforting simultaneously. Thank You again, for this timely reassurance.
