When all I see seems to be in dull shades of grey flecked with hopelessness, You never fail to infuse me with new hope when I put my faith into action and ask You to fill me afresh.
And when You do, I begin to see in color again, as Your Life gives me new life and hope.
I love this verse so much, especially in the following two versions, as they remind me He is my living Hope at all times, even on the hardest of days.
“May the GOD OF HOPE fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13 NIV
“May the God of GREEN HOPE fill you up with joy, fill you up with peace, so that your believing lives, filled with the life-giving energy of the Holy Spirit, will brim over with hope!” Romans 15:13 MSG
