I’ll turn Heartbreak Valley into Acres of Hope. She’ll respond like she did as a young girl, those days when she was fresh out of Egypt." (Hosea 2:14-15)
First love.
Not a human concept, friend, but rather a Godly one. Over and over, God points out how He loves to woo us all over again when we fall away, or the fire of our love for Him has grown cold. He meets us back in that place of loneliness, heartbreak and/or regret, and welcomes us back into Hope. Where the past stays in the past, where we can leave our chains behind us and move forward into victory and freedom once more.
Friend, if you are feeling off, not quite right in your relationship with Him? Know He has already taken that into consideration, and invite Him to make these verses come alive in your life today. Don’t allow enemy lies and life’s circumstances to divide you from the One who will literally die and give His all for you, that you might be fully who He designed you to be!
