Yesterday evening was a rough mind battle. Today, it was a physical battle to get up & going this afternoon.
I realized this morning that this is my two year anniversary of waiting for surgery. 18 months longer than expected due to the pandemic, with no date yet in sight.
The next few verses of Psalm 23 continue where we left off yesterday. (Knowing God is with me, and has led me to a quiet place to rest…)
🌿“That’s where He restores and revives my life. He opens before me the right path and leads me along in His footsteps of righteousness so that I can bring honor to His name. Even when Your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for You already have! Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of Your love takes away my fear. I’ll never be lonely, for You are near.” (Psalm 23: 3-5 TPT)
🌄So I can trust He is leading me on the right path for me, despite the lengthy wait.
💡Because He is my victory, my strength & my peace – I can see light despite the darkness of this season.
🫂Because He comforts me when I am fearful, in His closeness it flees. Loneliness has no place within, as You are always near… even when I can’t see it, I know it to be true!
